Tote Feuersalamander im Tümpel

Hallo Leute,
war gestern auf Entdeckungstour. Dabei entdeckte ich 6 tote Feuersalamander im Wasser. Da ich mittlerweile weiß, dass die Salamander im Wasser laichen, frage ich mich dennoch warum sie leblos im Wasser trieben. Es sah so aus, als wären sie ertrunken. Weiß jemand mehr zu diesem Thema?
